International Enviroguard is a manufacturer of disposable protective clothing. We provide disposable safety clothing for numerous industries and applications. We rebranded a few years ago and also re-designed our website.

Over time, our site has become much slower, it crashes, and is running out of “memory” space. We would like to redesign the site to be more visual for a better user experience and to improve our website’s overall health—improving page load times, increasing available memory, reducing file size(s), etc.

A particular concern is our website’s “Core Web Vitals”. Google’s core web vitals are now used as a primary ranking factor and our pages fail each item, often significantly.
Understanding Google’s Core Website Vitals:
- Largest Contentful Paint (LCP): How long it takes for the largest element on your page to load or render; it needs to be under 2.5 seconds (benchmark), Google wants your site to load at 2 seconds or less
- First Input Delay (FID): How long it takes for a user to get a response from the site in the browser such as a click; Needs to be under one millisecond
- Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS): Elements on your webpage shifting, focuses on the visual stability such as moving elements as the page loads; should be under one millisecond
As you can see below, our homepage currently fails three of the four Google core web vitals:


What we are providing
- Our current Magento theme is the welt pixel “Pearl” theme. We are open to suggestions if a new theme is needed, or if the theme should be removed and a fully custom-coded option is more realistic. Ideally, the homepage should seamlessly integrate with the existing Pearl theme.
- Site map of all internal and external links
- Guidelines of how we would like to restructure and redesign our website
- We have wireframed our main pages and can provide all page designs, copy, and assets
- We will have you work directly with our current Magento developers for support and implementation of all changes made
What we are looking for:
- A deep understanding and experience with the Magento 2 platform and it’s coding limitations/abilities
- The ability to custom-code within the Pearl theme, or the ability to code another theme that is similar to the wireframes provided.
- Sample work must be provided. Please include live URLs for review
- Ability to provide UX suggestions is appreciated
- Improved Core Web Vitals and overall site speed
- An increase in our site memory by decreasing file sizes, referral links, 404 links, etc.
- A reduced site map in terms of removing dead links and consolidating pages

3 page wordpress site with booking/payment functionality - Upwork

I've got a vision for a simple site, it would include a 'main page' with my logo and theme colours, my profile photo and short statement about breathwork.  I then want a menu with two other pages, one being 'sessions' with an option to book and pay via paypal plugin in, and the other being 'contact' with my contact details and links to instagram and facebook.

We are a funded startup that is looking for a designer to work on the first version of our polished product. We are looking to start with contract work, but are willing to bring the right person in full time. Only designers with substantial experience designing modern, forward-thinking mobile applications from the ground up should apply. We are looking to move very quick, so work would start immediately.

This role would include the following:
- Running through a design process to create a design for a customer facing mobile app, and SAAS style web backend for a new product
- Working closely with development team and founders to provide implementation ready design elements including specs, animations, graphics
- Constantly iterating design throughout the development process from MVP to Launch

Responsibilities
- Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers
- Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
- Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs, interactions
- Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate functions
- Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables)
- Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams
- Identify and troubleshoot UX problems
- Create a standard design language for software including fonts, colors and images

Requirements and skills
- 5+ years of proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role
- Substantial portfolio of design projects
- Knowledge of wireframe and feedback presentation tools
- Deep, up-to-date knowledge of design software such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Sketch, Figma, etc.  
- Strong communication skills, team spirit, and genuine desire to create great products
- Good time-management skills
- Bachelors in Design, Computer Science or relevant field

Hourly Range: $100.00-$200.00

UI UX for fairly simple B2B SaaS - Upwork

This SaaS product is fairly simple, with four main functions:

1) The business user (employee) is "interviewed" by the application, one question at a time - similar to a Typeform survey.

2) While processes are being defined, this needs to be visualised dynamically on screen -  supporting information/hints/tips also need to form part of this visualisation, which makes the process more of a network. Take a look at DHTMLX/yFiles FlowChart and Network components to get an idea of what this might look like.

3) Once all information, processes, hierarchies etc. are captured from users, this sizeable body of information needs to be accessible in a logical way, from very high-level to the lowest detail. UX here is key... and this is the part I am not creative enough to envisage.

4) An Admin panel allows users to to make changes to labels and fields within the Questionnaire journey

Portfolio and similar project experience is key. I'm willing to go over budget for someone who meets my requirements best.

Number of pages I'd need in total: 5-10 (we can negotiate here)
