I personally believe that artists are really great at communicating and reaching out to it's audience.

Hence posting this application here.

I run Ontrack - a two-wheeler startup that has managed to make an application which we believe most two-wheeler riders will love.

In summary, we do everything that you'll need to be taken care of when it comes to your bike.

But obviously, making the app is one thing, and getting it in the hands of the user is another.

We'd like to open our doors to creativity, come up with ideas on how to distribute the application in multiple hands across multiple domestic geographies.

You won't need much of analytics skill or have to post any ads by yourself. All the support will be provided.

The day to day working would be coming up with ideas on distribution and executing them - some could be talking to influncers and negotiating commericals with them, some could be reaching out to brands for partnerships, some days you'll learn how affliate networks work and so on.

I can assure you that it'll be a fun experience and that you'll only need a laptop and a smart phone to work with.

Yes, there will be a stipend - anywhere between 5-20k a month, but this opportunity unfortunately is not remote.

You'll have to workout of our space in Indiranagar, Bengaluru.

ABOUT THE FILM: 

We are making an intimate, verite documentary about the journey of one family as they flee from their home in Honduras, travel through Mexico on the migrant caravan, cross the US border to ask for asylum, and then live  in limbo for two years, while waiting for their final hearing in immigration court.. 

Our story is about family, love, and finding community in unexpected places. The hero's journey for our characters is largely about what it looks like to recover from trauma. It's about survivors' guilt, the pressures of applying for asylum (reliving trauma while having to recount the same story over and over), and the pressure that all of that can put on your closest relationships. Our film style is very personal and immersive. The viewers have a front-row seat into the marriage of our protagonists over the course of three very important, formative, and stressful years in their lives. 


WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR: 
We're looking for a creative collaborator in this process. We want to find someone who takes the time to understand our characters, our aesthetic, and how animation can play a subtle but beautiful and emotional role in the overall film.

Some themes that are important in our film and particularly in the aesthetic that we're looking for in the short animated parts of our film (~7-9 minutes total) are: memory, nostalgia, healing, and specifically the emotion in the descriptions of memories. We want to evoke every sense through this animation (with the help of sound design) during these scenes that are mostly recounting memories, both positive and negative.

We want the images to be beautiful, dreamy at times, perhaps even metaphorical. We want to avoid an aesthetic that feels too Disney or cartoonish (nothing against Disney, just not our style for this film). 

Some aesthetics that we like, but are not married to: 

  • Painterly style, brush strokes, watercolor, etc. 

  • Collage 

  • Interaction with and interesting transitions from live-action footage or archival photos into animation, and/or a mix of both animation and footage at once

  • Simple lines and illustrations that are barely animated, more so made to look dynamic (with movement), but they are a single image/drawing

Primary Duties


The primary role of Designer at Rule29 is to execute concepts from other creatives as well as develop creative concepts and execute creative direction on a wide range of projects. This position calls for 3?5 years of experience and proficiency in video production/motion graphics, as well as web/digital and print design. For all project types, both production and job checking responsibilities for Rule29 are required. This role is built on the foundation and assumption that you will work as an integral piece of the Rule29 team and adhere to Rule29's philosophy of work and culture. Job Description 

 

Narrative Initiative is seeking an intern to join our Content Program where the ideal candidate will work on producing content for our Instagram accounts - WordForce and Narrative Initiative. We are looking for a detail-oriented, emerging graphic designer or motion designer who is eager to gain professional experience designing and animating content for a mission-driven organization.

 

What you do 

  • Create posts, carousels, and stories that elevate our content, with meticulous attention to branding guidelines, copy, and feedback from supervisors

  • Design and animate templates for our IG accounts

 

Who you are

  • At least 2-3 years experience using Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects or Animate, or comparable tools 

  • A portfolio that showcases work in at least two of the following, for social media or websites: motion design or animation; graphic design; photo editing and/or collage; illustration

  • A demonstrable interest in visual storytelling, narrative, and social media strategy

  • Enthusiastic, dependable, eager to learn

  • Ideally, some experience, including volunteer experience, working with a nonprofit, advocacy organization, or social justice enterprise

  • Some Spanish-language proficiency would be a plus, but not necessary

The Senior UX Designer at Constructive will drive audience and brand engagement for social impact. Your Core Responsibilities

As a Senior UX Designer at Constructive, we'll count on you to:

  • Guide clients through the process of discovery, research, information architecture, sitemap creation, and UX design, helping them make their own vital contributions to the project and creating an enjoyable experience for everyone involved.

  • Lead the research and discovery process for our clients engaged in website, application, and interactive design projects?including conducting surveys, interviews, heuristic analysis, content audits, peer analysis, desk research, behavioral analysis, analytics review, asset review, group discussions, card sorting, tree testing, and other methods.

  • Work with the director of Strategy & UX to analyze and identify key themes and develop actionable insights from learnings in the research and discovery phases to build alignment and set the strategic direction for the project.

Skills & Experience You'll Need
