Freelance Media Buyer - Focus on Paid Search

In this role, you should be well-versed in principles of Pay Per Click Marketing (PPC). You should also be analytical and good with numbers.

You should have experience buying media on paid social as well as optimizing and reporting on campaigns.

Your goal will be to ensure our online marketing efforts have the highest possible return on investment (ROI) and return on advertising spend (ROAS).

Key Functional Areas of Responsibility

Manage, review, and perform daily account responsibilities associated with Google Ads, Bing Ads and other search platforms for a variety of clients.
Participate in forming effective paid search strategies.
Participate in strategy, execution and reporting on paid social campaigns.
Be involved in keyword selection and audience targeting, manage the creation of large keyword lists and maintain and monitor keyword bids, account daily and monthly budget caps, impression share, quality score and other important account metrics
Monitor budget and adjust bids to gain better ROI
Track KPIs to assess performance and pinpoint issues
Write effective ad copy and provide ad copy for client review prior implementation.
Familiarity with A/B testing and different ad types.
Experience with Display advertising (GDN) tactics preferred
Provide recommendations and execute strategies for keyword opportunities, campaign structuring, targeting, display network, and other facets of paid search in accordance with client goals.
Provide oversight and manage new paid search campaigns, ad groups, and accounts and aid in the creation of paid search marketing initiatives.
Provide oversight, manage, and be able to generate weekly and monthly client reporting for all major metrics, goals tracking, revenue tracking, and other paid search initiatives.
Keep pace with search engine and PPC industry trends and developments.
Maintain partnerships with PPC ad platforms and vendors
Monitor and administer web analytics dashboards, reports and key reporting tools, and point out key areas of importance in accordance client goals.
Monitor and evaluate search results and search performance across the major search channels.
Communication to team and management on project development, timelines, and results.
Provide oversight and work closely with the other team members to meet client goals.
Produce reports for management (e.g. dashboards and performance reports)
Attend weekly status calls with clients and provide up-to-date and relevant information directly to the Account Manager and client/client team
Agenda creation -Provide weekly insights, updates + recommendations for clients' PPC program

Professional Skills & Qualifications

No less than 5 years experience in Paid Search Marketing (PPC).
2-3 years experience managing & reporting on paid social campaigns
Search Engine Marketing (SEM) experience a plus
Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Keynote also preferred
Experience with website analysis using a variety of analytics tools including Google Analytics as well as internal reporting tools.
Experience working with popular PPC ad platforms (Google AdWords, Bing AdCenter, etc).
Proficiency in managing moderate to large scale PPC accounts in a variety of different business verticals.
AdWords / Bing certification strongly preferred.
BS/BA degree preferred.

Short Tutor on Google Tag Manager and Google Ads - Upwork

Hi this is a short one, hopefully half an hour, but definitely no longer than one hour.

I manage Google ads for a company, and I need ZOOM help  setting up and confirming Google Tag Manager is connected to Google ads and conversions are tracked.

I've done this before, but it's been a few years, and I've even started it in this current case. But, it's very confusing and I want a little more clarity on how to set up the tag manager to measure clicks and conversions and connect it to Google ads.

Hopefully both these screen shots will look familiar.

Who knows, I might need additional help managing and optimizing Google ads moving forward.
