I’m starting a podcast titled “Questions with John Cain” which involves my interviewing people with interesting areas of expertise. Example profiles I’m looking for: - An expert on the current water crisis - A senior person at the port of Los Angeles - A senior person at any of the LA stadiums - A private detective - The operator of a very large club in LA - Private contractors that have done highly custom work for celebrities - A notable paparazzi reporter - A senior person in events coordination for Coachella etc. I’m looking for someone to do the following: - Identify interesting interview profiles through research based on my recommendations and your personal brainstorming - Send list of potential interviews to me for approval on ongoing basis (~2x per week) - Conduct outreach with approved profiles and work to set up phone meetings with me I’m looking for someone who is highly independent and good at creative problem solving. Someone who will utilize a variety of creative approaches to reaching potential candidates to gain responses, including hand written letters, custom 3D printed mailers, LinkedIn, etc. There will be some trial and error to find what works best. I plan to engage on some level here to try new ideas. I’m looking to conduct 3-4 interviews per week, and I anticipate that would take an ongoing 10-20 hours per week to support. This position would be long term. Willing to pay a premium for the right person who is excited by this idea and can bring in great interview candidates.
